Fire in the Mountains has unveiled the third wave of artists for its 2026 edition, further solidifying the festival’s reputation as one of the most intentional and immersive heavy music gatherings in North America. Scheduled for July 23–26, 2026, at Red Eagle Campground in East Glacier, Montana, the festival has added SubRosa, Full of Hell, Old Man Gloom, Raven Chacon & Iggor Cavalera, along with several more acts to an already formidable lineup.

One of the most eagerly anticipated events is SubRosa’s long-awaited reunion show, marking the influential doom collective’s rare comeback. A 2026 only performance by Full of Hell, presented by the Firekeeper Alliance, is also included in the bill. Pulitzer Prize–winning Navajo/Düge composer Raven Chacon and renowned drummer Iggor Cavalera will collaborate live for a unique performance designed especially for the Fire in the Mountains setting, one of the festival’s most distinctive offerings.

Beyond the music, Fire in the Mountains (FITM) is unique in North America as the only heavy music festival without alcohol, with a focus on action, awareness, and community. The festival aims to promote awareness and actively support suicide prevention activities to address the current suicide issue that affects the Blackfeet Nation and Indian Country as a whole.

FITM is a fully immersive wilderness event that combines heavy music, Indigenous culture, art, and education. It is set in what the Blackfeet refer to as “The Backbone of the World”. Due to this strategy, the festival has gained a global reputation as one of the most significant and innovative heavy music events of our time.
